The Metro Architectural Shoot

The Metro on Granby Street is located at 401 Granby Street right in the heart of downtown

The Metro Exterior Shot

Norfolk. The building resides on the corner of Freemason and Granby, just walking distance from the Light Rail stop on Monticello. This is just another great project by Marathon Development Group and managed by Drucker & Falk. I can't say enough about these projects that are in Downtown Norfolk. Not only are they great places to live, they are changing the vibe and the culture in Downtown. It truly is a place that you can live, work, and play without having to get in your car and travel. Everything is there that you need downtown. Like many of the apartments in downtown there is a beautiful community space that is equipped with a full kitchen, pool table, and lounge area that residents can use.

The Metro Outdoor Patio

Just beyond the community space is a nice outside garden/patio area. This photo was taken at night to really show how well lit and inviting the space is. The Mural adds a nice modern flare to the area and the fountain makes for a nice tranquil space to relax and unwind As you can see, surrounding this courtyard are apartments that have a nice view of this space. This would be a nice space to have a gathering of people that is equipped with a grill for entertaining . This next image shows how well lit the exterior of the

The Metro Night Shot

building is at night. This image was shot in the middle of the night during the week. I was probably out here around 11:00 P.M. in the middle of the week. At that hour there was a presence of people everywhere either walking their dogs, dining out for the evening or just taking a stroll. As I said earlier in this post. These projects are bringing out the culture of Norfolk Virginia. In my opinion this is something that Norfolk has been missing for a long time. It has been missing places to live right in the heart of Downtown. The Metro is also has a nice

The Metro Rooftop Garden
